Dr Wolff, please closely examine executive compensation via stock options. Executive compensation allows for top tier management to buy shares for pennies on the dollar. Of course the share buybacks increase earnings per share, they also prevent dilution from new shares issued via stock option excessive. Decades ago share buybacks were illegal…
