We are good at “beating around the bush”, But you need a governing authority which follows a political philosophy which does not blindly perpetuate personal enrichment and industrial expansion globally, but sets limits on it,,, and this type of government must control human greed at every level (producer and consumer). Human greed is discussed as the problem or the evil in all its forms and in the oldest texts dating back 6,000 years ago and well before archived history. This necessary control can be expressed in many ways, from new laws and forceful administration to intelligent manipulation or guidance – regarding greed and profit. Even worker controlled co ops must work to achieve better reliable products to survive in a world of competitive worker controlled businesses!.. To include the new industries designed to reverse ecological damage, an unavoidable task for all of us still breathing. We have been in a position of power in the last century which has influenced and intimidated the globe. Although, in many ways we did not use this power benevolently and consequently have lost that position because of it, we are still in a position to influence a positive change, one that will draw attention, admiration and allied cooperation. This will require a peoples movement since we have no willful benevolent leaders. It is not just about workers rights, unions and fixing the economies, or better and bigger trade agreements. It’s about limitation, perhaps industrial regression, reversing super urbanization, It’s about governing and a new Government.
