If I had to bail out an industry like general motors, I would take ownership also especially if it was their original college boys and share holders who were suddenly in the last 20 years now sucking down 10’s of millions annually while laying off 10-40 thousand employees in the same period who sucked the business dry and bankrupted it. I would re-staff the management with educated civil servants at the federal salary level and order a new line of production limited to small electric vehicles (killing 2 birds / one stone), oh and I would piss on the share holders giving them lesson number 2 which is you work for a living instead of outwitting others for daily capital gains through minute trading. Aint I a terrible autocratic type?
I believe its called lemon socialism for the sake of national security
