I realize this could be a Doctoral thesis in and of itself, but, is there, from a historical perspective, any credence to the theory that, the purge of the Communist party, post FDR’s death in 1945, was as much fueled by government and rich elite sentiment to destroy Franklin Roosevelt’s “New Deal,” as it was to get rid of those “Pesky influential Jewish leaders” in those rebellious groups who have given the Left so much representation in the 1930s and 1940s? It would be easy to attribute all that happened to the Left by government and the Republicans and the rich to simple greed and need for vengeance for being pushed into it by FDR in the first place, but, America is such a complex thing to begin with, I was wondering if there was more to this story than that.
