Just watched the TV Economic update airing of the show titled Lawyers. As in Europe I feel that I am also getting a free education when I watch your show as if attending your weekly class with those few students, thank you. It is true that we are an incredible hypocrisy when conservatives claim to believe in non government intervention. It is true that we despise socialist methods while providing unbound amounts of free tax money to the rich and to an elite minority of the upper middle class. There are different types of government intervention, FDR also convinced through fear the necessity of large industrial powers to contribute to the new deal, half of them did and they funded the programs which put 15 million back to work, a government / corporation collaboration. I truly appreciate your intellectual understanding and explanations of events taking place as we live through them daily. Like commenters on our present problems here on past shows I also would ask “What do we do about it?” I suppose this is something that cannot be discussed on public airways. Unlike the greed and injustices of history we now live in a technical age where dysfunction will not be absorbed and forgiven by our environment any longer and our window of opportunity is closing quickly.
